Description
The Limit property controls the number of characters the user
can enter in the control.
Usage
In a painter
To set the maximum number of characters allowed:
-
Type the number of characters that the
user can enter in the control in the Limit field of the General
page of the control’s Properties view.0 indicates an unlimited number of characters.
In scripts
The Limit property takes an integer value.
The following example sets 256 as the maximum number of characters
for the MultiLineEdit mle_1:
