Properties of Target dialog box: .NET Assemblies tab

Description

Displays the list of .NET assemblies that have been imported
into the target.

Other opened painters may prevent you from adding assemblies.
Close the painters and reopen the dialog box to proceed. Also, for
source-controlled targets, you must check out the target file from
source control before you can add assemblies.

Dialog options

Browse button

Click to open the Browse for .NET Assembly dialog box, from
which you can browse to import files with the .dll, .tlb, .olb, .ocx,
or .exe extension. To import an assembly, select it and click Open. To
import multiple assemblies, you must select and import them one
at a time.

Add button

Click to open the Import .NET Assembly dialog box where you
can import shared assemblies, private assemblies, or recently used assemblies.

Remove button

Click to remove the reference to the selected assemby from
the target.

Move Up button

Click to move the reference to the selected up one position.

Move down button

Click to move the reference to the select assembly down one
position.

Assembly Name

The name of the assembly for shared assemblies in the Global
Assembly Cache (GAC), or the string Private Assembly for local assemblies.

File Name

The name and location of the imported assembly in the GAC or
the local file system.
