Editor/Printer Font tab – PB Docs 150

Editor/Printer Font tab

Description

Defines font characteristics for the Script view or editor.
Use the Editor Font tab page to define fonts for on-screen display
and the Printer Font tab page to define fonts for printing a script
or the contents of the editor. Changes you make on these pages apply
to all Script views and to the File editor, the Source editor, and
the Interactive SQL view in the Database painter. Changes you make
on the Editor Font tab also apply to the Debug window.

Fonts for multilanguage character display and
printing

The default font is Tahoma, which displays multilanguage characters
correctly on the screen. However, if the printer font is set to
Tahoma and the Tahoma font is not installed on the printer, PowerBuilder downloads
the entire font set to the printer when it encounters a multilanguage
character. If you need to print multilanguage characters, specify
a printer font that is installed on your printer.
