About XML and PowerBuilder
PowerBuilder provides several features that enable you to
work with the Extensible Markup Language (XML). You can:
- Export the data in a DataWindow object to XML, and
import data in an XML document or string into a DataWindow object - Determine whether an XML document or string is well-formed
or conforms to a schema or DTD using the XMLParseFile and XMLParseString PowerScript
functions - Build applications and components that can produce
and process XML documents

descriptions in the online Help.
This chapter describes how you can produce and process XML
