It is not a PowerBuilder recommended practice to type (instead of
select) the logical keyword in the SQL Select painter.

If you type the logical keyword (such as “and”) to the value in
the SQL Select painter, the model conversion and data retrieval in
PowerServer will have the error: Incorrect syntax near ‘)’. To resolve
this error, you will need to select the logical operator, instead of
manually typing it. Or go to the Source Editor, and change AND~” to ~” LOGIC =
~”and~”.
