Display Format properties
Description
Edit or define a display format for a column.
Options
Style Name
Enter the name of the display format if you are defining a
new format. If you are editing a format, you cannot change the name.
Datatype
Select the datatype you are defining the display format for.
If you are editing a format, you cannot change the datatype.
Format
Enter or edit a suitable display format for the datatype.
The Format box displays a format only if you are editing a display
format.
Example
This numeric display format displays 5 as $5, -5
as ($5) in red text, and .5 as $1:
1 |
$#,##0;[RED]($#,##0) |
The string display format below displays the string 800YESPOWE
as (800) YES-POWE in red text:
1 |
[red](@@@) @@@-@@@@ |
