Description

Define the alignment and workspace settings you want to use
in the DataWindow workspace.

Dialog options

• Snap to Grid

  Check if you want objects to be aligned on the grid.

• Show Grid

  Check to control display of the alignment grid in the Design
  view.

• Show Ruler

  Check if you want a horizontal and a vertical ruler to display
  in the Design view.

• X and Y

  Enter values to set the grid cell size. The default is 8.

• Show Edges

  Check to display the boundaries of each control in the DataWindow object.
  The boundaries displayed for controls are for use only in the Design
  view. They do not display in a running DataWindow object or in a printed
  report

• Retrieve on Preview

  Check to retrieve data when a Preview view is open or when
  you preview the DataWindow object in preview mode.
